ABOUT US
In 1930, El Centro FFA set out to make a difference in the lives of its members by providing them with all the opportunities, resources and support they need in order to shape them into the leaders of tomorrow. Over the years, El Centro FFA has grown to be a topnotch agriculture program in the Imperial Valley. We pride ourselves on offering agriculture students of Southwest High School a chance to reach their fullest potential.

JULISSA R.
President
Hi everyone! My name is Julissa Reyes and I am your Chapter President for this year. I am a senior at Southwest High School. I have been in FFA for four years and have served as Chapter Sentinel for one year and the President for two years. I also have served as the Imperial Section Treasurer and this year, I serve as the Imperial Section Reporter. Some of my hobbies include: showing market swine, heifers, and even a duck. I enjoy being around my family and my friends. After highschool, I plan on attending IVC for two years and transfer to University of Arizona for two more years before becoming an agriculture teacher. I can’t wait to see what this year has to offer and I am beyond thankful for spending my four years of high school in FFA.

Vice President
Hi, my name is Malei and I’m a junior at SHS. This is my second year in office, but this is my first year as your chapter Vice President. For my SAE, I raise and show rabbits and dairy goats. I am also currently raising a guide dog for our chapter.  Outside of FFA, I raise animals for 4H and I coach both competitive cheer and gymnastics. I love traveling and going swimming-- no matter the weather. My favorite place to be is at the beach. In the future, I hope to attend vet school and become a livestock veterinarian, but for now, I am truly enjoying serving as your VP. I hope to get to know you all!

Hello! This is your current Chapter Secretary, Bella! I am so excited to serve El Centro this year. When I am not writing a bunch of minutes and agendas, I am out working my feeder calf and heifer or playing volleyball. Last year, I was on the BIG team and this year I am a member of the the Livestock Evaluation team. I am looking forward to a great year!

Hi! My name is Madison and I am currently your Chapter Treasurer. When I am not balancing our club funds, I am taking care of my goats or playing volleyball. I enjoying competitively showing livestock and this year, I am on the Livestock Evaluation team. I can't wait to spend a great year with you!

Hi, my name is Alex and I am your 17-18 Reporter. I show a goat in FFA and a rabbit in 4H. My hobbies include having fun, playing sports, and hanging out with my family and friends.

Sentinel
Hi, my name is Amara and I am your current Chapter Sentinel. I enjoy raising and showing hogs and heifers at the fair. Being apart of FFA has taught me how to be responsible, caring, and committed. After I graduate high school, I plan to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse.
